Things I love these days

1. Hot showers: I have always loved, loved, loved long, hot showers. When I first became pregnant (this time and every pregnancy) showers became my enemy. I had to keep them short and sweet and not too hot or else I would become really, really sick. Usually, I became really, really sick after a shower regardless how quick or how cool the water. This always bummed me out because there is nothing like a nice hot shower. I am now back to my nice, long, hot showers. I love them! Most days, I take at least two of them. I treasure them! I love them! We may possibly need another hot water heater so that I can stay in there longer with hotter water....

2. Chapstick: Not much can beat chapstick. I love the smell, I love the way it makes my lips feel, I think I am addicted. And, it has to be the old man kind of chapstick - you know the original chapstick in the black container that smells a little bit like mentholatum (?) or something like that? You know what I am talking about - not the new smell, new flavor, special this or that kind of chapstick - just the regular, old, been around forever kind of chapstick.

3. Dove Dark chocolate with almonds: Yum, Yum, yum. Dove chocolates are a bit pricey compared to say Hershey but they are well worth the money. I can eat them by the handful - and these days, believe me, I do. But, they are dark chocolate (which is the best kind of chocolate for you) and they have almonds (which are suppose to be heart healthy) so I am thinking that it is ok.

4. My Iphone: I didn't really believe all the hype but Craig purchased one for me as a gift and I love it! The best gift he has ever given me....besides the kids, of course.

5. Aveeno Facial moisturizer: I have yet to find a facial cream that I like better. It smells nice, feels nice, and leaves my face so soft. I am especially obsessed with moisturizer when I am pregant. Don't know why. Just am.

6. Caress Body Wash: We use this instead of regular soap. We have for years and I continue to love it as well. Only we don't buy Caress anymore...we buy the Wal-mart brand that is comparable to Caress and actually think we like it better. It has a nice, clean, fresh smell. I am really into nice, clean, fresh smells. Especially when I am pregnant. Don't know why. Just am.

I'm sure there are more things but that's it for now. I'm quite impressed that this time around, only one item related to food. Wow.

I'm also pretty sure that after these last two posts, anyone who reads this is probably going to stop. I think I need to stick to cute pictures of the kids!

Lolly
