A week or so ago, we went to Evening with Santa at the boys' school. Our main purpose of going is to, well, see Santa. We can have our pictures made and sit with Santa without having to actually go to the mall.
In years past, I have always had to be in the picture with the kids and Santa because at least one of them cried and would not let me go. I could never figure out how people get their kids on Santa's lap crying because mine just won't let go of my neck. This year, Craig and I went prepared for the possibility that we might have to be in the picture so we dressed accordingly. I think this might be the best idea we have ever had. Not only do we get to see Santa, but we also get a family Christmas photo. It's genius!
